Training
Overview
Quantec offers its clients on-site classroom training courses for both EViews and Stata. All course notes and documentation are included.
Courses are available for beginners, saving a considerable amount of time in finding one's way around the key features of the software.
More advanced training courses are also available for both EViews and Stata, including general econometrics or statistics (for Stata), and more specific subject matters such as foreign exchange forecasting, panel data, etc. The course outline for each course may be tailored to the individual client's needs.
Requirements
- Relevant software licences and computers.
Course fees
A standard tuition fee is charged £1,500 per day for introductory courses and £2,500 per day for more advanced courses (terms and conditions apply). The fee includes up to the recommended maximum of 12 attendees. Any trainee expenses such as travel costs are quoted separately.
Venue
Training is done at client's facilities, and not limited to the UK.

Econometrics with Eviews courseThis four day course is aimed at users who already use EViews but would benefit from an introduction to a range of more advanced methodologies and their implementation in EViews.
Econometrics with Stata courseThis three day course starts by reviewing the basics of Stata, focusing on both the theory and the application of the theory to the data. Focus is placed on time series and panel data analysis, with particular attention given to reviewing state-of-the-art techniques commonly used by researchers and data analysts.
Panel data using Stata courseThis three day course aims to provide an understanding of panel data econometric techniques and their use in the empirical investigation of economic models using Stata.
